Your hands can do so many things! You may be familiar with the Delta Faucet commercial which plays this song. It is actually a song from Sesame Street, so just for fun I included the song here! This year's catechetical theme is "Hands of Holiness", and yes everyone's hands can do so many things. St. Helena's is looking for helping hands. There are many ways you can help in the program. (By the way, if you don't want to hear the song anymore, either mute your speakers, or scroll down to the player and turn it off) Anyway, listed below are some of the ways we still are looking for helping hands. Further below, you will find a form to submit if you can help. Thank You!
Also, for more catechist materials, fun stuff and resources check our catechist website 4Angels2C listed in the 4Catechists tab above. Also, on the 4Angels2C is a more complete musicbox with some very beautiful and inspiring songs about hands. Again, this one here is just for fun, because faith formation is fun! (God loves fun and has a wonderful sense of humor!)

Youth Ministry Ministers We need adults who are interested in helping with organizing social and service activities for our youth ministry team. St. Helena's youth ministry is a way for teens to build community among themselves and to carry out the Christian values stated in 1Timothy 4:12 out into the world. Adult volunteers would work with Tricia Pennise and the schedule will be made through her. Contact the Faith Formation Office for more information or use the form below to express your interest.

A mouth can talk, a mouth can chew
Not many things a mouth can do
But hands, just mention hands and my heart sings
For hands can do so many many things
Your hands can brush your teeth or comb your hair
Throw a ball into the air
Wave hello, or wave goodbye
Even make a pizza pie
Use a fork, use a spoon
Hold a string on a balloon
Paint a picture, tie a shoe
So many things your hands can do
A nose can breathe, a nose can smell
Not many things a nose does well
But hands do so many things for you
I’ve mentioned some, now let me add a few
Your hands can turn the pages of a book
Pick a phone off of the hook
Rub your nose, scratch your head
Flip a coin, or make your bed
Push a button, write your name
Pet a dog and play a game
Pick a flower, yes it’s true
So very many things your hands can do
